Welcome to Elepaio.org! Our goal is to increase awareness, appreciation, understanding, and conservation of the Oahu Elepaio (Chasiempis sandwichensis), an endangered bird that literally can be found in the backyard of Honolulu. This website is maintained by Pacific Rim Conservation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to conserve native birds of Hawaii and the Pacific.
