You can help Pacific Rim Conservation protect and manage the Oahu Elepaio. Each year we continue to trap rats in areas the Oahu Elepaio nests. • Support efforts to reduce feral cat population in Hawaii. Cats also climb trees and can prey on nests.
• Support efforts to control and eradicate mosquitoes in Hawaii. Mosquitoes carry avian malaria and avian pox virus, diseases that can kill or disable Elepaio.
• Support efforts to protect and restore native forest on Oahu.
